President Trump declared today Sunday, 3/15/2020 a National Day of Prayer.

Has it been a while?

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

John 14:13
13And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. 15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.…

James 1:5

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraides not; and it shall be given him.

Not sure what to say?

Matthew 6:9

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom and the glory

Forever and ever Amen.

Who to pray for?

Mark 12:30-31  (NIV)

30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no commandment greater than these.”

Luke 10:25-37 “who is my neighbor…”

Your neighbors:  Next door, across the street, in the town.  The first responders: police, EMT, nurses, doctors, missionaries.  The elderly in nursing homes and those at home, as well as their care givers. The Lost, the sick,….

What else can you do?

Do not be afraid:

and said, “If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

Follow the guidelines.  If possible stay home.

Isaiah 40:10Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.

Send an email or call a friend with encouraging words:

Hebrews 13:3

 ……………………………………………………………………..
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
