Doing a group craft during the holidays can bring joy to young and old.
This season, besides the customary baking, I sat with a group of 30 ladies at a church and learned wreath making from an 80-something dear who, as a child, helped her family farm raise money during holidays creating custom wreaths that were shipped to northern cities.
Then I was gifted with a block of goat’s milk soap base and found an easy process on YouTube to melt, mold and add oats and scents, making fragrant gifts for family and friends. It was great fun to share with my daughter and granddaughter (age 4).
Do you have a fun holiday tradition you’d like to share?
