The weather begins to change and so do our moods.  Gray cooler days can oppress.    There is a name for it now:  SAD Seasonal Affective Disorder.

What to do?  In a word:  Volunteer.  If you are just starting to get down when the weather changes you may be able to feel better by keeping busy and helping others.  Get outside, get exercise, stay connected with others.  Volunteering is a way to stay active and keep the gray at bay.

If you or someone you know is affected by seasonal changes know you are not alone, and sometimes professional help is needed.
